During the surgery, you can have a cuff-like device placed around your leg to assist reduce bleeding. Your knee will have two or three small incisions made by the surgeon. To inflate the knee, fluid (saline) will be pumped into it. One of the incisions will be used to introduce a thin tube with a tiny camera on the end. The surgeon can see into the knee thanks to the camera that is connected to a visual monitor. Through the other incisions on your knee, the surgeon might insert additional tiny surgical instruments. The knee issue will subsequently be treated or removed by the surgeon. Your knee will have its saline removed after the procedure.
